A Little Backstory

This year has been nothing short of amazing. I’m excited to finally embark on a passion that’s been growing inside me for years. I am proud to announce that I’m officially a Hemp Farmer and the owner and operator of Baked Bro Farms LLC.

Here’s a little backstory on how I got here:

In 2016, I was attending Midstate Tech, pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice. Even though I enjoyed it, I always felt there was something more for me. Towards the end of my first year, I made the decision to follow another dream—one I’d had since I was younger—to join the U.S. Marines. I planned to enter the infantry and had everything lined up to make it happen. But then, I got a call from my father that changed everything.

My father, Reymundo Solis Sr, was diagnosed with cancer in 2016.

The man I looked up to, my hero, had fallen ill. In that moment, my priorities shifted. Instead of enlisting, I dropped out of school, got a job, and began sending money back home to help. While working as a concrete cutter in South Dakota, I discovered a passion for health and nutrition. I became determined to find natural ways to support my father’s fight. I returned to Wisconsin, diving deep into health and fitness in hopes of discovering something that could make a difference.

While my father’s condition slowly worsened, and the medications stacked up, we started to explore alternative treatments, which led us to CBD.

I watched as CBD gave my father some relief, helping him regain some strength and mobility. He never stopped fighting, but seeing even small improvements inspired me. I knew this was something worth pursuing. My father’s life may not have been saved, but seeing him live better for a little longer made all the difference.

He passed away on January 2, 2018, and that loss drove me to learn everything I could about hemp and CBD. Over the next several years, I studied, read, and prepared for the day I could make a bigger impact.

Now, in 2024, I’ve taken that step. I earned my grower’s license in February, started my LLC in July, and haven’t looked back since.

What’s next?

Looking ahead, I have big plans to expand in 2025, growing on a much larger scale with new offerings. This is only the beginning, and I couldn’t be more excited to bring you along for the ride.

Baked Bro Farms LLC is not just a business; it’s a tribute to my father and everything he inspired in me.
